Mailbox integration grows: attachments, folders, labels, recurring events

The mail service fetches attachments from Gmail and Outlook, lists Gmail labels and Outlook folders, returns signatures, includes spam and trash on request, and accepts recurrence rules on calendar events.

Reading a mailbox is the first integration; working inside it is the second. This release adds what an application needs to file, forward and schedule on a user's behalf.

Mail

  • Attachments A call fetches an attachment from Gmail and another from Outlook, over the same gRPC service.
  • Folders and labels Gmail labels and Outlook folders are listed, and a Gmail listing can include spam and trash and filter by label.
  • Signatures A user's signatures are returned on Gmail; Outlook currently returns none.

Calendar

  • Recurrence Events accept the standard recurrence, exception, date and exclusion rules, and event listing is paginated with a continuation token.

All of it is exposed through the unified service definition, so a script calls Gmail and Outlook the same way.
